Australia Art Gallery

23 Mar

For class I had to order some new canvas prints from the artwork that I finished last week. My university was having an art gallery for students who were senior and about to graduate, and some of my art was going to be displayed. I needed to buy a few canvas prints of my best piece so I could sell and sign at the venue for the art gallery. It was really important that I leave a good impression of myself, my art, my brand, as well as the university while at the art venue. I decided to go online to find out information on cheap, quick canvas prints so I could order them without worrying about cost. I needed them in about a week so I had to make sure that rush delivery was an option so they would be here in time before the art gallery was supposed to be.

A Spy Pen is a Great Gift Idea!

16 Feb

A spy pen is one of the coolest gifts for all of your hard to shop for friends and family members! Forget cash and gift cards; those can be tacky if you give them every year. Plus, nobody wants to get clothes for Christmas. Instead, think of all the fun your family members can have when you get them a neat little gadget like a spy pen. Not only will they think you’re the best gift giver ever, but they will spend countless hours using your gift instead of throwing it aside almost immediately. If you have family or friends who like neat technology oriented gifts and you’re not sure what to get them then you can’t go wrong with this idea. Plus, it’s not as expensive as you might think. Advances in photographic technology have allowed for gadgets like these to be available to a lot more people because the resources are more common. So, buy yours today!

Graffiti and Its Social, Cultural and Political Critics

14 Oct

If you see graffiti in your neighborhood, you can say that’s annoying, making a wall dirty, disturbing, mocking or even disgusting. But on the other hand, it is a sign of creativity, artwork, or a political message.

We can say graffiti is vandalism if it’s a mess of scribbles from an irresponsible artist, if we don’t get its meaning and so on. But do you know that graffiti is not just a messy painting on the wall? In fact, to many, it’s an aesthetic artform sold even as canvas art prints for corporate office walls!

Graffiti’s value is in the eye of the beholder. A clever piece can provoke thought, and certainly “add value” to what was otherwise just a brick wall. On the other hand, graffiti can “dirty” a wall – making it look scruffy with just a scribbled tag on the wall. In fact I personally wouldn’t like to call that graffiti, but “tagging”.

What To Look For When Choosing Portrait Artists

08 Jul

How do you determine who to hire to create your portraits? Since commissioning an artist to paint your portrait is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most people, you have to make sure that this person is a professional when it comes to portrait painting. One of the things that you will notice when beginning your search for portrait artists is the price of their service. Check your budget if you can afford the price of the artist that you want to commission. One thing that you can also do it to visit the location of the portrait artist to look at his works firsthand. You can also checkout the website of the artist if you do not have the time to visit or if it is impractical to visit the said portrait artist. When you are able to talk to the artist, it is important that you talk to the person so that you begin to feel comfortable towards him or her.
